Multiplexer
--> The multiplexer is a combinational logic circuit that consists of multiple inputs and a single output. One of the multiple inputs is forwarded into output at a time using selection lines. If the multiplexer consists of 2n no of inputs then there are n number of selection lines.
--> Example: 2x1 mux, 4x1 mux, 8x1 mux, 16x1 mux. 16x1 mux consists of lines that can select from 0000-1111.
