step 1: Design Truth table for full adder.
step 2: Obtain expression from truth table in the form of sum of minterms for both sum and carryout.
Express the obtained sum and carry equation in notation form.
sum(X, Y, Z) = ∑(1, 2, 4, 7)
Carryout(X, Y, Z) = ∑(3, 5, 6, 7)
As full adder requires 3 bit binary 3 to 8 size decoder is required for implementation.
