--> The major significance of the decoder is to convert binary information to original information that can be in the form of alphanumeric data. The output can also be audio, image, video, etc.
-->Binary to octal decoder converts 3 bits binary into its corresponding octal values.
--> 2 to 4 line decoder, 3 to 8 line decoder, 4 to 16 line decoder, 5 to 32 line decoder....
